Made with nutritional yeast, our cheesy almonds are actually dairy-free. Our Founder has eaten plant-based for more than 20 years and uses nutritional yeast to replace dairy in some of her favorite dishes – hello plant-based mac n’ cheeze! Nutritional yeast is an inactive form of yeast, made by culturing a yeast in beet molasses. This creates a flavor profile similar to cheese and happens to be an excellent source of B-complex vitamins. Almonds contain iron and protein, both necessary for healthy immune function, and they contain vitamin E which boosts immunity. Ingredients: Organic almonds, organic sesame seed oil, nutritional yeast, sea salt.
